HSLDA High School Symposium

Join Diane Kummer, HSLDA High School Consultant, for a one day event, High School at Home: Turning Possibility into Reality, sponsored Biltmore Baptist Church Homeschool Ministry on Saturday, April 12, 2014.  Check in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the day concludes with a question and answer session ending at 3:30 p.m.

Diane will present 4 seminars providing you with an overview of high school:

  • Developing a Plan for High School:  Sample 4-Year Plans
  • High School Transcript Clinic and Recordkeeping Help
  • Important Pit Stops during High School
  • You Can Homeschool High School…If You Can Make It through Tomorrow!

Parents of teens in the midst of high school who need encouragement and practical help, as well as parents of 6 – 8th graders who need a vision for teaching through high school,  will benefit from Diane’s presentations designed to give you tools to navigate the high school years.

Registration is required for the event.  Lunch will be offered at $7 per person but must be reserved during registration, or attendees are free to bring their own lunch.  The cost of the event is $15 per individual or $25 per married couple; teens may attend for free with a parent, but must be registered.  Registration is now open!  This price is good through March 30 and space is limited.  Please register for this event at   http://tinyurl.com/n342ton
